East London’s most loveable duo have returned with their fourth single release.
The track begins with a quote from a talk given by the critic and philosopher Mark Fisher, who passed away earlier in the year. A speech that contained some dire warnings about the nature of modern life as he saw it; “The dream we live in in Britain is a constant anxiety dream, dominated by urgencies.”
Collaborators on the single include bass from Chris Hargreaves of Submotion Orchestra and production from Loxe – who also featured, notably, on Nao’s impressive opus, For All We Know last year.
Daylight Dreaming is out now.
