The new video for The Heliocentrics’ track Collateral Damage has just been aired. The track, taken from their forthcoming sophomore LP, 13 Degrees of Reality, and took three years to make and builds on the expansive sounds of its predecessor, Out There, and the vibe of their excellent collaborative work with Mulatu Astatke and Lloyd Miller. Produced by London video house, Plastic Horse, the promo features distressed hand-drawn illustration and repeated patterns, and has a vivid colour palette. For anyone unfamiliar with Malcolm Catto and co’s work, this is well worth a watch and listen.
