Lefto’s 5 favourite radio shows

Back when we were still lamenting winter, Bonafide predicted seven music tech trends for 2017, one of which was the rise in popularity of internet radio. Its ease of access for both listener and broadcaster would be fertile ground for budding presenters and already established DJs.

Someone who has been nurturing the airwaves for two decades now and holds down over 700 radio shows on his Mixcloud page, is Lefto. Extolling new artists from around the globe on his Early Bird show on Worldwide FM (who incidentally will soon be donning party hats as they skip into their second year of broadcasting) as well as Studio Brussels, he’s not far off John Peel or Gilles Peterson in the radio stakes.

As such, we were eager to hear his five favourite shows to lock into and here they are..

Next weekend Lefto will play on home turf at music and arts festival HORST. Get final tickets here.
