After being launched as the first nightclub via the creative vision of Cirque du Soleil, Light has gone from strength-to-strength. Showcasing a ton of established acts, it has become a mecca for emerging and established artists visiting Las Vegas especially during the summer months.
Attracting the biggest artists to play at Light, was something that Mandalay Bay envisaged when the idea create Light was placed in the hands of Cirque du Soleil. Its creative mindset means at Light “no two nights are the same, guests enter the realm of the unknown, where everyone in the club is part of the show.”
So, recently the club, which is situated in one of the city’s biggest casinos, Mandalay Bay, announced that it was to welcome Grammy-nominated British duo Disclosure on March 28. The duo, which released the critically acclaimed ‘Settle’ in 2013 have been touring the world extensively, and it’s a major coo for Light to attract such a popular act as Disclosure.

Mandalay Bay launched Light in 2013 on the back of the success of the inventive Cirque du Soleil show, and to try and counter a hug fall in revenues. Since online gaming infiltrated the gaming industry, established casinos such as Mandalay Bay have been thinking up ways of clawing back revenues they lost to online platforms ever since the Cryptologic-owned InterCasino opened the doors for casino websites online.
