MF DOOM steps up for a show on Solid Steel Radio this week

King Geedorah aka MF DOOM is perhaps the most legendary and revered living figure in underground hip-hop today. A generation have grown up in awe of the masked producer and MC – he’s influenced and worked with J Dilla, Flying Lotus, Earl Sweatshirt, Madlib, Clams Casino, Danger Mouse, RZA, Ghostface Killah, De La Soul and more.

To celebrate the re-release of the conceptual classic Take Me To Your Leader, originally released in 2003 via Big Dada (Ninja Tune), King Geedorah has delivered a rare “Snake Charmer” mix for Solid Steel. Take Me To Your Leader came out a year before MadvillainMadvillainy, the collaborative opus with Madlib – DOOM took the form of a giant three-headed lizard from outer space on 13 tracks all produced, written, recorded, arranged, mixed and mastered by the Metal Fingered Villain himself.
