The new video from singer songwriter Johnny Burgos practically seeps timeless Brooklyn soul out of the screen.
The ballad is taken from the new LP of the same name – All I Ever Wonder is a collaboration between Brooklyn-born Johnny and veteran soul producer Jeremy Page (Kendra Morris / Czarface / MF DOOM), an outpouring of vulnerability and honesty in Johnny’s soulful voice and writing, matched pitch perfectly by Page’s production.
We worked really hard on this record and hope it reconnects our listeners to being human in a visceral way. It’s accessible, honest, and soulful because I wanted it to speak to anyone who still wants music to relate to.
Music to help you through the valleys, to celebrate the peaks, and handle everything in between. It’s a journey of the soul that explores ego, insecurity, love, loss, survival, enlightenment and trusting the process. It’s truly All I Ever Wonder. – Johnny Burgos
All I Ever Wonder is out digitally now through LRK Records. Vinyl and CD can be ordered via Bandcamp.
