Jon1st is hot property.
A past winner of the World Online DMC Championships, Jon has used his turntablist skills to perform official scratch refixes of d’n’b supergroup Ivy Lab, DJ Vadim and Sam Binga. He was duly made a resident of their 20/20 club night in London.
Also one third of production trio GOALS alongside EAN (Cosmic Bridge/Med School) and Will LV (Brownswood/Hyperdub/Keysound), Jon’s mix for Bonafide comes before his appearance at the 20/20 x Astral Black showcase at Village Underground this Saturday.
It’s an eclectic session, including selections from 20/20 favourites Om Unit, Kidkanevil and Alix Perez, as well as some half-time footwork from Machinedrum and Phillip D Kick and even some Dre and Drake thrown in there. Enjoy.
