Music! Muzik! Musique! First Word Celebrate Europe with New Compilation

L-R: Seb Zillner, Élodie Rama, Shungu and Terry Tester

In a call for rising up united in music, First Word Records recently put a shout out for artists across Europe to contribute to a compilation to celebrate the continent. ‘Our team, our artists and our friends consist of people from across the globe. In a time rife with division and uncertainty, we’d like to celebrate unity and diversity,’ outlines the reasoning behind the project.

The result is thirteen tracks of smoothed out beats from Holland (Sleepin’ Giant), Belgium (Shungu), Ireland (Colm K), Demark (Terry Tester), Wales (Don Leisure), Germany x London (Twit One x Turt and Tappin), France (Élodie Rama), Estonia (Joshua Stephenz and Windy Beach), Finland (Helsinki Headnod Convention), Italy (Collettivo Immaginario), Poland (NOON and Tomasz Mreńca), and Austria with Seb Zillner with the multi-origined Pitch 92.

Think Eurovision, but with less controversy and a lot more flair. Half of all label profits go to Shelter and The Refugee Council.
