Sahra Gure reworks a track from the soulful Love Me With Me EP, a deeply personal work which saw support from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Tony Minvielle and Nubya Garcia.
Working with film maker Mersedes Margoit, Sahra has filmed an acoustic version of Unreasonable In Love at the iconic Soup Studios in London. The fragility and purity of the lyrics come to the fore in the video, where she’s joined by bassist Mutale Chashi (Joe Armon-Jones, KOKOROKO, the sadly departed Tony Allen) and emerging artist Tara Cunningham on guitar.

“My relationship with Unreasonable in Love is forever evolving both musically and emotionally,” reflects Sahra. “It’s gone from a song of being misunderstood to an apology to a song of growth and self affirmation: which is where I am now.”
My heart and soul are pure,
Intentions are clean I’m sure,
That love and light is all I want to share in life.
“I hope this unplugged version serves as a self affirmation for people or offers listeners a new perspective.”
