The Herbaliser release Bring Out The Sound on BBE Records

It’s been 6 years since The Herbaliser last released an album, 2012’s There Were Seven.

While that was released on their own Department H label, this one comes courtesy of BBE records, a UK institution who have put out records for everyone important – from J Dilla to Madlib.

It’s The Hebaliser’s debut on the label, and a fitting home for a group credited with helping to bring Ninja Tune out of the shadows and the UK hip-hop sound to the masses.

Bring Out The Sound features a host of British talent including king Rodney P on two tracks and Just Jack of ‘Starz In Their Eyes’ fame, as well as guest spots for the relatively unknown but talented Stac, 28Luchi, Mark Keds, and Tiece.

However, the band’s brass led beats are the true star of the album, taking centre stage and reaffirming their position as UK luminaries. It really is a return to form.

Bring Out The Sound is out now.
