The Jazz Cafe reopens with showcases from Stones Throw, NTS, 22a and more



London’s historic Jazz Cafe has made a triumphant return to the public consciousness after being closed for refurbishment for the first half of the year.

Due to reopen on Wednesday 25th May, the opening programme has just been unveiled, which include a Bonafide and Stones Throw collaboration featuring Dam-Funk, Egyptian Lover and M.E.D on Thursday 2nd June, a 22a showcase with Al Dobson Jr performing alongside Ruby Rushton and Reginald Omas Mamode IV live on the opening night, and an NTS night headlined by Darkstar live on Saturday 28th May.

Other highlights from the reopening fortnight include The Dave Harrington Group’s album launch party on Thursday 26th May and hip-hop royalty Just Blaze and Waka Flocka Flame coming down on Friday 27th and Sunday 29th May respectively.
