Action Bronson is back in 2020 with a highly entertaining new visual for single, Latin Grammys.
Directed by Video Connection, the visual sees Bronson competing in 1995’s World’s Strongest Man competition under the alias Action Ver Magnusson. Competitors lift cars, arm wrestle, toss cabers and pull fire engines before Bronson emerges victorious and claims the tile.
The summery single, – produced by Tommy Mas – is typical of Bronson’s humour. Over a slinky brass and guitar loop, the New Yorker raps with gusto making unlikely references to wrestling moves, Tom Cruise, swimming trunks stuffed with cash, Dolph Lundgren, yoga, dolphins and more.
“This song is about coming of age”, say Bronson. “I love a good Latin jazz, upbeat vibe. It’s got that funk, you know? You can do all kinds of dances to this song. You know a song is good when you can do all different types of dances to it, and you’re still on rhythm.”
Action Bronson recently experienced a personal epiphany that’s lead to him overhauling his lifestyle and diet, hitting the gym, and so far loosing a whopping 80 pounds (around 5 and a half stone) in weight.
